OUR PROCESS
At HS Design, the process is simple, collaborative, and focused on the client. It starts with getting to know how the client lives, what they need, and what isn’t working in their current space. From there, we look at layout, function, and overall flow before jumping into aesthetics. Next, I create a clear plan with layout ideas, inspiration, and design direction that fits their lifestyle and budget. Throughout the process, there is open communication so clients feel involved and confident in every decision. The goal is to make design feel easy and approachable while creating a space that truly works for their everyday life.

During my internship at Gensler, I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams on a variety of workplace design projects, contributing to concept development, space planning, and presentation materials that supported both internal reviews and client meetings. I assisted with the creation of detailed deliverables, including renderings, finish boards, and construction documentation, utilizing Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design intent effectively. I participated in project meetings and site visits, gaining valuable exposure to the full design process from concept through execution. This experience deepened my understanding of how design strategy and client collaboration shape successful spaces, while strengthening my technical proficiency, creative problem-solving, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, design-driven environment.
